Sports for a Cause
Team Archer is crossing the finish line to support the health and human service needs of others.
Archer employees participate in a variety of sporting events, such as running, biking and team sports, to raise funding for medical research, education and services.
Kansas City Corporate Challenge
Team Archer had a strong turnout for the 2007 Kansas City Corporate Challenge, participating in 32 sporting events to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. The Mission of the Kansas City Corporate Challenge is to promote health, wellness and camaraderie through events that challenge participants’ bodies and minds.
Run for the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired
In April 2007, Team Archer participated in the Sabates Eye Center’s Trolley Run, the largest four-mile run/walk in the United States. All proceeds from this run benefit the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired.
Bike Tour for the Multiple Sclerosis Society
Team Archer joined the fight against Multiple Sclerosis for the second year by participating in the annual MS Bike Ride. The Multiple Sclerosis Society sponsors these rides across the country, and in 2006, 100,000 participants raised $67 million for the fight against MS. Team Archer is proud to be a part of this event.
Team in Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
For the second year, Archer has sponsored employees who choose to run in a marathon for Team in Training, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Team in Training is the world's largest endurance sports training program. Since 1988, more than 300,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $700 million.
