With Archer, you can partition data appropriately based on your specific business needs.

The Archer SmartSuite Framework is a multi-tenant software platform, supporting the configuration of separate instances of the Framework in provider-hosted environments. These individual instances support data segmentation as well as discrete user experiences and branding. Individual instances store their data in physically separate databases while using a common hardware environment and a single deployment of Archer application code. Users identify their instance as part of a manual login process, although instance identification can be automated through DNS or single sign-on configuration.

A multi-tenant deployment of the Framework provides the following advantages:

• Segmentation of data isolates sensitive information and provides discrete physical separation for increased security and ease of data recovery.
• One large Framework application infrastructure can support entirely separate clients or user bases, facilitating provider hosting configurations.
• All Archer instances benefit from load balanced configurations, increasing resiliency and performance of the Archer environment.
