BITS Certification

Archer takes a best-practice approach to information security and system integrity.

The Archer SmartSuite Framework is certified as a BITS Tested Mark product, and all solutions built upon the Framework are BITS certified by nature.

What Is the BITS Tested Mark Certification?

Created by BITS to improve the security of software products used in the financial services industry, the BITS Tested Mark indicates that a product has passed the stringent BITS Product Certification Program testing and certification process. The BITS program takes a consistent, objective approach to evaluating and testing for security standards. These standards are drafted as security requirement packages and use the schema and language of the Common Criteria certification program.

What Are the Criteria for BITS Certification?

The Archer SmartSuite Framework earned the BITS Tested Mark certification after third-party testing demonstrated its compliance with BITS’ security criteria in the areas of Data and System Integrity, Security Administration, Guidance Documentation, Security Functionality and Scalability. The Archer SmartSuite Framework was the second product to attain this distinguished certification.

What Is the Value to My Organization?

Although the BITS Product Certification Program was developed for financial services companies, its testing and certification process is relevant to organizations across industries. Earning the BITS Tested Mark demonstrates Archer’s commitment to providing highly secure solutions that enable our clients to manage their enterprise governance, risk and compliance processes. We take a best practice-approach to information security and system integrity, as recommended by BITS, which gives all Archer clients assurance that their solutions are secure. Because the Archer SmartSuite Framework is BITS certified, all solutions built on the Framework are inherently BITS certified as well.
