With the traditional deployment option, you manage your Archer environment on-premise, using hardware maintained by your IT staff. This option allows you to use your existing IT infrastructure to build and deploy enterprise applications on the Archer SmartSuite Framework. You maintain complete control of your Archer environment at all times, allowing you to adhere to your internal processes and security procedures and easily integrate with other enterprise systems.

• Existing Infrastructure

  By deploying the Archer SmartSuite Framework on-premise, you can use your existing servers to deliver the industry-standard ASP.NET (.NET) architecture of the Archer SmartSuite Framework. The traditional deployment model supports your internal security and application configuration requirements by enabling you to manage the Framework within your existing web application environment. You can also take advantage of seamless user authentication via Archer’s single sign-on (SSO) capability.

• Complete Control

  With a traditional, on-premise deployment, you can adhere to your internal processes and security procedures by tightly controlling your infrastructure, upgrade path and system access. Additionally, you can deploy multiple environments to support your user acceptance testing process and similar staged rollout procedures. To simplify your installation and upgrade processes, Archer provides installer packages complete with installer files, step-by-step instructions, and release and migration notes.

• Integration and Consolidation

  Maintaining your Archer environment on-premise allows you to integrate with existing business systems through Archer’s open, standards-based Web Services API. Take advantage of Archer’s system integration capabilities to unify business processes in a consolidated Archer environment and leverage your enterprise data effectively.
