Archer supports a range of deployment scenarios via our Enterprise Business On-Demand model, allowing you to balance administrative control, data security and cost considerations when planning your implementation. Rather than locking you into a single deployment option as many software vendors do, Archer gives you the freedom to deploy your applications in the most appropriate environment based on your current needs and to move applications from one environment to another as your needs change. Archer’s unique approach is all about choice and flexibility.

Archer offers the following deployment options:

• Traditional Deployment

  You can license the Archer SmartSuite Framework and deploy it in your own environment, managing your hardware, software and upgrade processes on-premise.

• Software as a Service

  You can utilize Archer’s SaaS offering and access the Archer SmartSuite Framework via the web, avoiding the IT requirements associated with a traditional on-premise deployment.

• Managed Service

  You can select a trusted service provider to host your Archer applications in an environment managed by the provider.

In addition to providing these three deployment options, Archer offers an additional layer of flexibility by allowing you to take a combined approach. You can manage some of your applications on-premise, utilize Archer’s SaaS offering for other applications and deploy others with a third-party provider. Because all applications built on the Archer SmartSuite Framework can be easily packaged and moved from one environment to another, you have the freedom to change your deployment strategy at any time.
